Mystery novel Head Games won an award in the Fiction From the Heartland competition. Tribal Fires and Miles To Go Before I Die ranked as finalists in a Heartland Writers Guild competition, with Tribal Fires (under the name Indian Summer) winning first place. Her mystery short story, "The Bearer of Tales," will be featured in L&L Dreamspell's Revenge anthology. A member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters In Crime, St. Louis Writers Guild, Ozark Writers League, Missouri Writers Guild, and Saturday Writers, Judy serves as Author Promotion Rep for the St. Louis Chapter of Sisters In Crime.
